A108 Series Wall Technology's A108 Series panel is a composite panel specially designed to provide noise control, tackability and a smooth appearance. Because of its smooth surface, almost any type of fabric can be applied to the panel from lightweight wovens to vinyls to designer fabrics. An optional foil scrim backing not only seals the back of the panel but also provides a superior gluing ground for easier installation. This panel series also offers extra wide panels as standard products - up to 60" wide. The A108 Series panel gives you the creative edge. Construction: A108 Series panel is a composite core panel constructed of dimensionally stable, rigid fiberglass core (6PCF) with an 1/8" thick 10-12 PCF smooth sanded fiberglass face. Foil scrim backing is optional. Edges are resin hardened to protect against damage and to provide a clean, crisp edge appearance. Finishes are applied to the face of the panel and returned to the back for a full finished edge. All corners are fully tailored. Panels are designed to accept optional concealed mounting hardware as specified. Sizes: Standard Thicknesses: 5/8", 7/8", 1 1/8", 1 5/8", 2 1/8", 3 1/8", 4 1/8". Any size up to 60" wide x 120" high (nominal). Custom sizes and thicknesses are available. Standard tolerances are ±1/16" in width and length. Edges: All edges are resin hardened unless otherwise specified. Aluminum edge available (square only), wood edge available in all profiles. Choose: square, radius, bevel, miter or custom. Flammability: Standard fabric and core have been tested in complete assemblies according to ASTM E-84 Tunnel Test and have achieved a flame spread rating of 25 or less (Class "A").
